Cairo, 29 August, 2023: Eagle Hills Properties has recently signed a contract with Orascom Construction, marking a significant milestone in the development of the Soul Luxury Beach Resort. With a staggering contract value of EGP 1,920,000,000, this agreement signifies a commitment to excellence in constructing and bringing to life parcels 3 and 4 (Flow – Breeze) within phase 1A of the resort. The construction and implementation have a completion timeframe of 1020 days, commencing from the project’s initiation date.

This contract signage was witnessed by Mr. Mohamed Al Abbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills Properties, and Mr. Osama Bishai, CEO of Orascom Construction. This collaboration aims to deliver a remarkable project that will redefine luxury living.

Soul Luxury Beach Resort is envisioned as an exquisite haven along the Mediterranean coast. Soul spans an impressive 20 kilometers of waterfront, boasting a luxurious five-star hotel resort, serviced villas, and residences. Address Beach Resort Marassi Beach is located on an area of 86,100 square meters in Marassi, Sidi Abdelrahman, and it has been meticulously constructed along the breathtaking beach of Marassi, where the guests are offered a private experience through a 160 m – long private beach. Emaar Misr launches the largest government, social and youth services complex in the village of Sidi Abdel Rahman

Cairo, Egypt – September 2022: Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, attended the launch of Emaar Misr’s sustainable development project in the village of Sidi Abdel Rahman, which was created in cooperation with Tahya Misr Fund and the Ministries of Education, Health, Population, Youth, Sports and Social Solidarity. The project engulfs a detailed operational plan — ensuring maximum use of the infrastructure and equipment provided to implement impeccable quality of life for the village residents and expatriates, as well as 28 affiliates to the El-Alamein Center.

The celebration was attended by Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Major General Hisham Amneh, Minister of Local Development, Major General Mohamed Amin Nasr, Advisor to the President of the Republic and Tahya Misr Fund Trustee, Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar Properties, Mohamed Abou El Enein, Undersecretary of the House of Representatives, and Tamer Abdel Fattah, Executive Director of Tahya Misr Fund, in addition to a number of business shareholders in the fund.

Founder of Emaar Misr, Mohamed Alabbar, stated: “The primary goal of any real estate project is to meet the needs of the residents and provide an enhanced standard of living; and this is consistent with Emaar’s strategy of developing integrated urban communities that achieve the concept of sustainable development, and offer a wide range of living services that satisfy all customers. Alabbar further emphasized that the Sidi Abdel Rahman village includes high-quality healthcare and educational facilities and services, in collaboration with all the parties involved — a thorough research was conducted by the Tahya Misr Fund on the challenges and demands of building a sustainable development project in the village of Sidi Abdel Rahman.

Tamer Abdel Fattah, Executive Director of Tahya Misr Fund, said: “The sustainable development projects in the village of Sidi Abdel Rahman are part of the fund’s projects to improve the quality of life for the most marginalized citizens in Egypt’s governorates. It also aims to demonstrate the importance of the role of the private sector in social development projects, with a keen interest in providing exceptional health, education, youth, and sports services, as well as digitized government services using the latest technologies that abide by the country’s trend towards digital transformation.”

The project includes a Tahya Misr Fund Schools complex with a middle school for girls — Moaz Bin Jabal School — with nine classrooms, laboratories, field rooms, and a library, as well as an elementary school with twenty-nine classrooms; emphasizing the importance of reducing student density in classes. Moreover, there is a properly equipped middle-high school with 13 classrooms, and nine high school classes.

Regarding the health sector, Tahya Misr Fund invested in a family and child medical unit in the village; fully equipped with outpatient clinics and a laboratory, as well as an emergency department and sterilization devices to provide distinguished medical services to the residents and all visitors.

Respectively, the youth and sports sector remains one of the primary focuses of the project — a youth sports city was constructed with top-notch facilities, including football fields, a semi-olympic swimming pool, a gymnasium, a combat games hall, and a children’s play area. There is also a billiard hall, table tennis, and a restaurant and cafeteria area in the zone.

With a one-stop system and fiber-optic technology for data transmission speed, the largest service complex was constructed to provide governmental, social, youth, and commercial services to the residents of the village, and 28 other affiliates belonging to El Alamein Center. Furthermore, the complex comprises a government service center, which will provide services such as the Egyptian Post, the educational administration, the local unit, the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, the supply office, the civil registry office, and the real estate documentation branch.

The technology center for citizen services is based on the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development’s strategy of improving localities in collaboration with the Matrouh Governorate. The facility also houses a banking services center that is open all year. Moreover, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Social Services Center was established with the goal of providing social protection and economic development to the residents of the village.

Building on the unprecedented success Emaar Misr achieved with its developments in West Cairo last year, selling out the first phase of Belle Vie within a few days, the company continues its accomplishments and announces the contracting of Redcon Construction and Solid Construction to begin the construction of the first phase of Belle Vie, which took place only 10 months after the launch. Emaar Misr has inaugurated the first international marina on the North Coast “Marassi Marina and Yacht Club” inside Marassi. The port is the most significant touristic marina on the southern border of the Mediterranean Sea, covering 1.16 million square meters.

Attending the event were Mohamed Al Abbar, Emaar Misr founder and a number of several high profile personalities.

This $24.2 billion project is a standout addition to Emaar Misr’s investment portfolio in Egypt, featuring many unique features.

The port can hold up to 267 yachts measuring from 12 to 155 meters long. The project also includes five international-standard hotels and many top-quality amenities, services, and facilities.

Total investments topped EGP 24.2 billion, comprising over 2,500 residential units and 134 commercial plots, creating over 180,000 job opportunities. That is part of Emaar Misr’s vision when developing this vital region.

Marassi Narina and Yacht Club is the largest of its kind along the southern coastline of the Mediterranean. Its location is between Cairo, Turkey, and Crete, making it a focal point for regional yacht tourism.

The Address Marassi Beach Resort and Vida Marassi Marina Hotel are under construction within Marassi in Sidi Abdel Rahman, along the North Coast. That is the first time Vida brand has established a facility outside the UAE.

There will also be an international yacht club in the marina. Emaar Misr signed an agreement with the world-renowned Montenegro port yacht club to operate it, ensuring the unparalleled quality of service.
